Wikipedia deleted Space Empire Elite.

Well, they killed the article, anyway.

The game itself lives on, believe it or not. There are a number of Atari ST BBSes where you can still play it, including Dark Force.

As mentioned in my previous post, some Wikipedia editors are on a mission to delete articles related to BBS door games. Their battle cry is “Notability!”

But have no fear. The Space Empire Elite article has new life on my new wiki: Break Into Chat.

Already new life is being breathed into this article. It has new screenshots — including one of the game’s title screen in VT52 mode. I’ll explain how I took that screenshot in my next post.
