Dungeon Master is multi-player, role-playing door game for bulletin board systems.

Dungeon Master has a number of unique features that set it apart from previous roleplaying BBS door games:

  • Much greater use of ANSI graphics, including 3-D display of environments as the player explores
  • A construction set system enables users to build their own game modules that plug into Dungeon Master game environment.
  • Extensive use of ANSI music and sound effects

Unlike many BBS door games, Dungeon Master allows for multiple players to play together in real-time.

Dungeon Master was first released in 1997 by John Dailey of John Dailey Software.
