Thank you all for your time... .*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.* Alot of people think that these games (L.O.R.D & Usurper) are what I call "Hit Enter Repeatedly" games.....meaning you could just start the game and hit enter to fight and basically get through the whole game by hitting enter. It involves much more than that. One of the keys is to have plenty of healing potions, and to ALWAYS be at your top strength before you go into battle. Also, one of the most important things to know is who not to fight (because they'll kill you)..... /////////////////////////////\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\//////////////////// Are you getting killed by players or monsters? Anyway, first, spend about half of your starting money on a good weapon (NEVER get 2 weapons, it costs more money and actually decreses your damage.) Then buy some cheap armor items until your almost out of money, then go in the dungeon, fight until you can get a level raise. Get the raise. With the money from the dungeons and level raise, spend 1/2 on a weapon and the other 1/2 on armor upgrades. This works for me, but not for everyone, just play the game some more, try out what I told you, if it doesn't work, try something else. ********************************USURPER fans ************************** Increase MENTAL STABILITY???? It increases slowly as you go up higher levels. Besides try not to use steroids as they bring it down. Carrying "CURSED" items and can't get rid of them???? In v0.06 you can drop them but if you are playing v.0.07x then you need to go to the healers and ask for a cursed items removal. This will cost you 1000 x your current level in gold. Carrying items you don't want to be???? In v0.07x hit s for status then i for inventory then s again for stop using, then you pick the # of the item you don't want to use. Looking for the best armor and protection??? Rummor has it that the White helmet and the Ivory shield are better in Armor ratings. Also try and grab 2 Iron necklaces as these will increase your AC. How do I get rid of the nonexistant players? 13b will 0 out the ONLINERS.DAT file. If the bytes on ONLINERS.DAT is not 0 the delete it. It will be made up again... What I didn't know was that whenever I tried to murder someone my evil deeds went higher, and that's the reason I was being zapped. This latest version is not running at all, it keeps bombing out when a player get into the door, here is the error.log, can anyone tell me what is wrong, I'd appreciate it. (B) what is the difference in the 3 doors at the end of the game? Room at the inn is safest, esp. with ten Pet Dragons.. Dormitory is free, but not as protective.. Beggers wall might get you some money, but you can be killed, and not be able tp put up a fight.. I find 30 to be the best number.. I think we start out with 28 forest fights, though I can't remember off hand. I'm working on getting my Magic User skills up. I've got 22 in Death Knight, 26 in Thief and 6 or 7 in Magic User. Yesterday I brought 23 charm, got one from Seth when I asked him to sing and got 6 in the forest. I'm now level 9. �
