Vampires: Children of Darkness The night grows cold as you walk along a lonely street towards your hotel. You suddenly become aware of someone, or something watching you from deep within the evenying mists. You look up and see eyes approach out of the dark; probing, penetrating eyes. Before you can react something pierces your neck. You try to resist, but only half-heartedly, for the sensation is absolute ecstasy. You grow limp and crumple to the ground. The one who has drunk from you slits his own wrist and hold it to your mouth. Do you dare drink? Welcome to the world of Vampires: Children of Darkness. You are a modern day vampire, roaming the streets of the worlds major cities. No illness or mortal fear can harm you now, for now you are immortal... or are you? You are not alone in this preternatural world; other vampires trying to kill you, elder vampires who fall in love with you and mortals on whom you feed help make this world truly unique. Vampires: Children of Darkness is like no other door game anywhere. Vampires is the first totally interactive game where everything you do and say has a bearing on how both the other players and the NPC's will perceive you. No other game can offer you this same type of interaction. The author, Mike Fenton, assembled a top team of writers and artists in order to make this game an experience to play. Sandy Chidester, well known for her graphic designs in other popular door games, came on board to design the amazing and seductive RIP and ANSI graphics. Peter Lazenby brings the graphics to life with beautiful descriptions and provoking dialogue. Mike also enlisted the aid of Trevor Warren, a self proclaimed vampire expert, to help him with the story line and descriptions. Other people who have been a great help to the production include: Programmers, Peter Hanmore and Joel Downer Game Ideas: Tag Atkinson, Dean Johnson and all my great Beta Testers! All of these people have helped make the game what it is... and that is amazing. Try it. Take a step into the night and see what is out there. Don't be afraid, we won't bite... unless you want us to. þ
