I'm running Exitilus as a door on my board, but every few days for a couple of users, it says their time is up on the board, when in fact they have a lot of time left... it doesn't let them play that day, and they get mad when they get behind in their games... any ideas? Possible Solution: My guess that it is reading the drop file wrong. It is looking for the line for time remaining and interpreting as something else. Are you using the right dropfile for the config? This Might Help!: I have 3 different doors that do what you describe or a version thereof. They are CST65.ZIP, CSTI65.ZIP and KSPTLNT.ZIP. CST65.ZIP: Cyberspance Transporter. Allows a caller to access another comm port and dial out to just about any other system. CSTI65.ZIP: Cyberspace Transporter for Internet: Allows a caller to access the internet by calling a ISP and accessing a Unix Shell Account. Allows ftp, telnet, gopher, email, newsgroups and more. KSPTLNT.ZIP: Another flavor of CSTI65.ZIP. All three are available via freq to 1:3613/10 using the filename. And you can also find them at ftp.ldl.net via anonymous login in the pub/bbs_doors/misc_doors directory. One of my best friends is looking for a program that will allow him to view GIF's & JPEG's which he d/l's while surfing the net. Try This... I have tried quite a few viewer programs, and I recently stumbled upon a keeper! It is called SEA v1.1 and can be found in the archive SEA11.ZIP . It is a DOS program, but will run in a DOS shell. Not only will it view every image format there is, it will convert from any format to any other format. It is available at shareware.com , or do an "exact string" Archie search. Or This... IMHO, one of the best (and I've tried a number of them) is GDS (Graphics Display System.) Tell him to look for GDS31F. It's available for FREQ only from my origin except at ZMH Central time. It's GDS31F.ARJ at this location. Subj : Archivers for amigas ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ Amiga Help? >I have a friend with an old Amiga. Also, a group called INFO-ZIP has written free Zip archivers/de-archivers for many different platforms including the Amiga. The unregistered version will only operate for 10 days from installation, but I don't think it will take nearly that long to decide you want it. I used PreSizer successfully, however it did NOT change the cluster size of my pre-existing partition. That negated the whole reason why I was re-partitioning in the first place, so I just FDISK'ed anyway :-( I understand Partition Magic does the job quite nicely although I don't *think* it's shareware. Sure Can... You should be able to do that already. Many door programs have a "local test mode" or some such. However, some programs still require a DORFINFOx.DAT, DOOR.SYS, PCBOARDxx.DAT, WCDOORx.BBS, or similiar file. If you have a text editor (such as MS-DOS EDIT.COM) you could create this file yourself (if you know how) as long as the format is a plaintext one (like DOOR.SYS), or you could edit the following DOOR.SYS file to meet your needs, and then use a program called DoorMaster to convert it to the appropriate format: þ
