Missing Mike Jordan!

Keep up the good work... I will maybe send you (u/l) some questions that you
could address in a future issue of DW online.  I really liked and appreciated
the stuff in the October issue.  I will ask Mike Jordan to reconsider-- he is
a good writer, very respected by sysops and fun to read.

I have been enjoying the new games EXITILUS and Falcon's Eye for a little while.
Do any hard core players have any helpful hints/tips concerning these games?

Has anyone come across a bug in EXITILUS concerning a player somehow getting
exceptionally high agility and defense scores too early in the game? This
happened recently in one game I was playing and it was near impossible to kill
him (though not IMPOSSIBLE! ;) I eventually had secretly accumulated enough
money to buy awesome weapons (and his character had too many magic
points...which, believe it or not, was a benefit for ME!) That I killed him and
took all his stuff. He still retained the extremely high stats (and even
confessed that he didn't know how he got them). Just wondering. It hasn't
happened in the new resetted version. HINTS/TIPS?
 
Falcon's Eye is also a very enjoyable game (though it's very time consuming.)
I do think that the inter-BBS option needs to be improved, though. I don't know
how much land I have lost to other BBS's because my troops were MIT! Very
frustrating! As soon as troops have been lost in transit for a certain amount of
time, it should automatically place your county in 'protected status' or
something similar. Never-the-less, I still enjoy the game immensely. Though,
there are appearantly bugs in this game also. One of the BBS's we were playing
against somehow received a networth of over 800,000 even before he came out of
protection. Is this something that there local sysop could have possibly setup
for this user (possibly even himself?)  HINTS/TIPS?
