MAY 1995 VOLUME 1.3 DOOR WORLD MAGAZINE =================== Editor's Note: As we enter the month of May several things come to mind: the promise of warmer weather, crab tree blossomings, the approaching end to the school year and another edition of Door World Magazine. Due to overwhelming response from Sysops, I have decided I needed to drop the price of Door World Magazine to $15 a year. After speaking with Dave Wendling who wrote the software for the magazine I was able to drop the price another $5 because he donated the software for free. Besides Door World Magazine being $10 a year it is no longer CrippleWare but ShareWare. All will be able to read the monthly magazine but those unregistered versions will indicate that it is UNREGISTERED with the line "This copy of Door World Magazine is NOT registered". These early editions of Door World represent the magazine's infancy phase and provide stepping stones as to where you, the readers, wish it to go. Some readers have asked for articles regarding some of their favorite authors and Door World has had contact (and positive response) from them and will be including them in upcoming issues. Others have submitted some of their favorite hints and tips to different door games. We here at Door World really hope to hear from you as to what YOU want this publication to be all about. Is there some other features you'd like to see included? Something eliminated? A particular door you're looking for hints about? Disagree with an article? then let us know. Regular contributions from Mike Jordan, Dave Wendling, Dustin Nulf and Walter Cade are always informative and enjoyable to read. Mike, Dustin, Dave and Walter are certainly open to any feedback and actually look forward to hearing from you. Questions and/or comments can be sent to them in care of the magazine or to them directly as they do provide their addresses with their articles. Address for submitting to Door World is included in the Mail Bag area of the magazine. Remember that advertising remains FREE here at Door World for those seeking exposure for their doors and/or BBS. Advertising can be in the form of featured articles or a simple text file description in the ads section. Ansi screens are welcomed and are a nice added feature to any ad. Thanks for the continued interest and please feel free to send forth your questions, comments and requests. RoAnn Vecchia Editor þ
